I recently acquired a Wacom Graphire tablety thing, and after a few hours of playing with it I have decided that it will take a while to get used to. On the plus side, it's spiffy and it works like a charm.
Woo! Congrats on the wacom, but it does take a while to get used to. Though, on average, it's about four or five pieces.
This does go rather fast, and it makes me dizzy (but from the short time before it loops back, not from the speed of it), but it's well animated and drawn. Nice work, Matt.
Many thanks. I agree with you on the speed and dizzyness, though - hadn't really thought of that before. Ah well, 'tis only a rough collection of hastily concieved scribbles.
As soon as I can develop better hand-eye coordination, I'm sure it'll do right well. Trouble is, I'm not entirely sure my eyes know what my hands even ARE.
Eh... I'd say, if you've got the money kicking around, go for it. But if you'd actually have to save up for it, there are other things I'd spend it on first. 'Tis a good thing to have around, but I dunno. Maybe it'll grow on me...
Uhh.. I've got exactly 5$usd in my bank account since I took the rest out to buy meh camera.. so i would need to save up the cash, but I think it would be worth it, I don't really need or want any graphic arts programs or anything else art-related (besides more stuff for my studio, but that's in the $1000's). But what else would you rather spend the cash on (art related, I mean)?
Hmm... Art-wise, I'm not sure. Paper and pencils and pens are really all I get by on - but then, I'm not a picky person by nature, and I don't often do the whole painting scene. If you plunked me down in an art shop and gave me a fistful of cash, I'd probably spend it all on novelty erasers and give the rest to the first person who answered a skill-testing question correctly...
I can certianly relate to the love for erasers, but I do love painting (I mean, I can't paint anything good, just blobs and stuff). And if I was sent into an art store I'd probably some out with tons and tons of cool paper, sharpies and pencils, but never end up using them because they're cooler to look at than ruin..
Aww.. you're so nice. Leave it to Matt to be the sweet one..
