So for the past few months my brother and I have been working off and on at a collaborative project: a side-scrolling shooter game about zeppelins in space!
And the first episode of said game is now complete! Interested persons may partake of it for free at YoYo Games, the discerning connoisseur's one-stop non-shop for everything related to utterly unknown indie games made with demo copies of Game Maker!
My brother did the coding and the script, and I threw down the graphics and the music. It's tremendously easy, since it's only the first episode - our plan is to make each installment progressively more difficult than the last until the 10th and final episode, when all hell breaks loose.
So go ahead and check it out, and maybe even rate it and/or comment with critiques or suggestions!
Bon appetit!

Also, check these things out if you've got the time. They are mostly quite nice, I promise.
-Jonny Crossbones[link]
If Tintin were in a webcomic and wore a skeleton suit, chances are he;d be pretty damn close to Jonny Crossbones. The art is lovely, the story is adventurous in a nostalgic kind of way, and the whole thing is so innocent and sweet that you'll find yourself going "DAWWW" at the strangest things.
-The Brothers Brick[link]
If you don't like LEGO, you're lying. I don't care. Shut up. You're lying. The Brothers Brick highlight awesome Lego creations by insanely talented dudes and ladies, and suchlike. Every time I see one I want to crack open the old tubs and get to work.
-Auditorium[link]
It's another one of those music games, but this one is browser-based and has nothing to do with your reflexes and finger skills. All I can say is: give it a shot. You'll see.
